How We Started
Ready Computing was launched in 2011 to implement health information exchanges for clients in both the public and private sectors. Over the last decade, we expanded our offering to include two software products, Channels360 and Wellbase, as well as the implementation of Contract Lifecycle Management platforms. We’ve also formed several strategic partnerships, obtained multiple corporate and employee certifications, and participated as active members in various standards bodies and technical workgroups.
Our work has been recognized over the years for several prestigious awards. One particular client, the Department of Veterans Affairs, received the FORUM Health IT Innovation Award each year since 2021 for work we supported on the Veterans Data Integration and Federation Enterprise Platform (VDIF), Health Middleware and Data Management (HMDM), and Community Care Referrals and Authorizations (CCRA) programs.
The recognition and success are largely attributed to one simple, guiding business principle — “integrity”. This principle has been woven throughout our corporate DNA and has been the driving force behind a series of strategic business initiatives that started with independently certifying our organization to the ISO 9001:2015 Quality, ISO/IEC 20000-1:2018 Service, and ISO/IEC 27001:2013 (now :2022) Security Standards in October of 2021. When we achieved that, we pursued maturity to ISACA’s Capability Maturity Model Integration (CMMI) for Services and independently appraised at Maturity Level 2 (ML2) in February of 2023. Most recently, in September of 2023, we were independently certified to Cyber Essentials +, a rigorous privacy and cybersecurity program developed by the U.K. Government. Lastly, independent certification to the aforementioned international standards and frameworks are all underpinned by independently audited processes, controls, and operations that prove our compliance with U.S. data privacy laws, as well as the EU and U.K. General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). Our guiding principle of integrity is not just something we say we have, but it’s evidenced in everything we do.
Where We Operate
We are headquartered in New York City and have an additional office in the United Kingdom. Between these two offices, we manage a global implementation team that implements projects worldwide in the local languages and time zones of the clients we serve.
