Daniel Berezeanu

Director of Managed Services and Standards

" I'm a believer that only standards-based solutions deliver the 'plug-and-play' model the industry has worked so hard to create. "
Daniel runs Ready Computing’s managed services and standards team, and is formally responsible for ensuring the solutions Ready Computing delivers are operational and supported for production use.  Throughout the deployment process, Daniel also verifies that all delivered code meets industry-defined standards and “best practices” based on Ready Computing’s experience managing large implementations.  Daniel is also a certified Scrum Master, and an evangelist and implementer of Agile methodologies.

Prior to joining RC, Daniel worked at Artefact, later acquired by IBM, where he lead the architecture and design team for Artefact’s IHE-based software infrastructure.  Specializing in ITI profiles such as ATNA, PIX(v3), PDQ(v3), XDSb, XCA, DSUB, and others, Daniel is a tremendous asset in any project requiring guidance and hands-on skills in the implementation and deployment of IHE-based integration platforms.  In this capacity, Daniel has most recently led Ready Computing’s efforts in eHealth Ontario, a Provincial project that combines the Forcare platform, custom software, and SOA principles to deliver an integrated healthcare solution for Ontario providers and patients.

Daniel also has a particular expertise in Patient Portals and Personal Health Records (PHRs), and recently worked for Digital Technology International (DTI) to architect and build a solution that enabled patients to collaborate with his/her care team through innovative Internet-based paradigms.
