Ready Computing is looking for a hard-working, detail-oriented, and responsible Technical Proposal Writer to author sales proposal content for prospects in both the public and private sectors. Reporting to the VP of Sales and Marketing, the Technical Proposal Writer should be comfortable working both independently and as part of small proposal teams, and possess a deep understanding of how to effectively write winning proposals of all sizes.

Sales Executive

Salesforce Architect

Ready Computing is seeking and experienced Salesforce Architect to join our talented team. Reporting to the Director of Software Implementation, the Salesforce Architect will be responsibile for implementing Salesforce at end-user sites, primarily those in the healthcare sector.

Information Technology Specialist

Ready Computing is seeking an experience IT Specialist to join its talented team. The IT Specialist's role is to ensure the streamlined operation of the IT infrastructure of Ready Computing Resources LLC ('Company') in alignment with Company's business objectives, including privacy and security. The IT Specialist will plan, coordinate, direct and design IT-related activities of the organization, as well as provide daily operational activities such as listed below. The IT Specialist will work closely with decision makers in other departments to identify, recommend, develop, implement and support cost-effective technology solutions that meets regulatory compliance for all aspects of the organization. The IT Specialist will also help define and implement IT policies, procedures and best practices.

The day-to-day operational activities includes installing, modifying and making minor repairs to personal computer hardware and software systems, and provides technical advice and support to system users.

Technical Proposal Writer

Responsibilities:

  • Read, interpret and derive functional and technical requirements from RFIs, RFPs, RFQs, and other similar procurement solicitations
  • Produce high-quality written content, often technical in nature, for inclusion in responses to procurement solicitations
  • Collect, tailor, and incorporate input into proposals from key contributors
  • Develop and implement structured, reusable proposal response templates
  • Understand federal and state government source selection processes
  • Ensure proposal responses are fully compliant to solicitation requirements
  • Maintain archive of prepared proposals and related materials such as past performances, staff resumes, implementation plans, RACI charts, and writing templates
  • Follow proposal-writing standards including readability, consistency, and tone (one voice)
  • Work closely with senior management to calculate pricing for proposed products, implementation services, hosting, reimbursable travel, and other components
  • Protect confidential company information at all times 
Qualifications:
  • 3+ years of proven experience preparing written content for winning proposals
  • 2+ years of experience writing proposals for the US Federal and State markets
  • Highly organized and detailed, with a "perfectionist" approach to work
  • Knowledge of procurement processes in both the public and private sectors
  • Excellent oral and written communication
  • Demonstrable expertise in Microsoft Office products, particularly Word and Excel
  • Fluency in English (Spanish is also a plus, but not required)
  • Flexible and able to adapt to frequently-changing standards and priorities
  • Willingness to perform some travel to partner and prospect sites

Sales Executive

The Technical Sales Executive will be responsible for generating sales opportunities both at prospective and existing clients, and managing those opportunities to closure. Additionally, the Account Executive will manage client relationships, lead sales negotiations, participate in bid proposals, and take on other sales-related duties. Below is a more detailed overview of the responsibilities and qualifications associated with this role. This position reports to the Vice President of Sales and Marketing.

Responsibilities:
•    Develop and expand the portfolio of Company clients
•    Manage the sales cycle (from lead generation to closing of sale) for both new and existing clients
•    Manage client accounts and foster client-dedication to Company
•    Understand client needs and present Company products and services to meet those needs
•    Negotiate financial terms of client agreements (subject to management approval)
•    Augment and maintain knowledge in targeted domains and formulate sales pitches for those domains
•    Participate in and produce material for sales proposals
•    Understand competitive offerings and how to position Company products and services accordingly
•    Respond to client complaints and take action to resolve issues and maintain company’s reputation
•    Maintain Company client entries in Company CRM (currently Salesforce)
•    Represent Company at tradeshows, user group meetings, and other marketing events
•    Periodically assume other responsibilities and assignments, as requested by management

Qualifications:
•    2+ year Associate's degree or greater, and 3+ years of relevant work experience

Salesforce Architect

Responsibilities:

  • Provide guidance and consultation to clients on "best practices" for Salesforce implementations
  • Participate in functional and technical requirements gathering and review
  • Design logical and physical solution architectures
  • Lead all technical aspects of a Salesforce implementation, in some cases doing the work first hand and in other cases delegating the work to other consultants
  • Create, test, and correct inbound and outbound interfaces using standards such as HL7v2, HL7v3, CDA, X12, and FHIR
  • Implement Workflow Rules and related components
  • Create apps using the Lightning Platform
  • Collaborate with quality assurance engineers to reproduce and test defects, and validate corrections made to those defects
  • Serve as a senior resource to technical support staff when operational issues are escalated
  • Contribute to technical project documentation
  • Log time each week in Ready Computing's timetracking system (OpenAir)
  • Take on other responsibilities and assignments as from time to time requested by management
Qualifications:
  • BA/BS or equivalent work experience in the field of Computer Science/Information Technology
  • 5+ years designing, implementing, and supporting Salesforce-based solutions
  • 3+ years performing systems integration within the healthcare domain
  • 2+ years building interfaces with the Mulesoft platform
  • Experience with Health Cloud is a strong plus
  • Experience working with healthcare standards such as HL7, XDS, and FHIR
  • Excellent communication, organization, and attention to details
  • Charismatic, and comfortable working and building relationships with customers
  • Customer advocate, working hard to ensure customer success and satisfaction

Information Technology Specialist

Responsibilities:

  • Identifies, procures, and installs hardware and software.
  • Assists in the customization and adaptation of existing programs.
  • Provides telephone, in-person and online support to Company staff.
  • Connects users to networks and provides initial training in applications.
  • Oversees vendor compliance to Company's privacy and security policies.
  • Participates in the development and implementation, and oversees the activities related to IT policies and procedures, including those for architecture, security, disaster recovery, standards, purchasing, and service provision.
  • Directs an ongoing, proactive risk assessment program for all systems.
  • Develops, implements, and manages the information privacy and security awareness training and education programs.
  • Acts proactively to prevent potential disaster situations by ensuring that proper protections are in place, such as intrusion detection and prevention systems, firewalls, and effective physical safeguards, and provides for the availability of computer resources.
  • Participates in evaluating security incidents and determines what response, if any, is needed and coordinate Company responses.

Work Environment and Location:
This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines. Some telecommuting/remote work is possible. Preferred Location is in the NYC area.

Qualifications:
  • B.A. or B.S. college diploma.
  • 2 years of information security related duties.
  • 5 years of technical experience, such as supporting computer and networking infrastructure, supporting operating systems, application software development, project management, regulatory compliance, risk management, and performing trainings.
  • Knowledge of HIPAA, Privacy & Security Regulations.
Additional Preferred Education and Experience:
  • Bachelor degree in technical field
  • Professional Certification (CISSP, GIAC, CISA, CISM)
  • Experience in the Healthcare IT industry
  • Knowledge of GDPR, and other international privacy and security regulations and standards
